anti scam
So how do you avoid becoming the next victim of a Russian scammer
? The most obvious way is to NEVER send money to women you have never met!
You will read this on many sites. And it's written for a good reason. Yet
men continually get duped into sending money to scammers.
There are some clear warning signs to look out for. We call them
red flags. A common red flag is to go silent for a week or two and then out
of the blue write and say that a close relative has been hurt in an accident
or fallen gravely ill. The woman will then ask you to help her with the hospital
costs as she can't afford it.
Another red flag is when they tell you they know someone in the
embassy who can get them a visa so they can come and meet you. Yes, men actually
fall for this and after sending a few thousand dollars they wonder why the
women didn't arrive in their country! Gentlemen, please note that Russian
women CAN NOT get tourist
visa's to the US, Canada, Australia and most European countries if you have
never met before. A young, single Russian woman is never going to get into
the US to meet a complete stranger. Period. US immigration will think it highly
suspicious that a single woman could consider traveling 1000's of miles to
meet a complete stranger she knows nothing about.
Men also get caught out with women who have tricked them into
meeting in an independent country. They will tell you and rightly so, that
they can't get a visa to the US and it would be better to meet in Egypt or
Prague, anywhere they don't need a visa. You wire them money for their travel
arrangements and then end up on vacation on your own for a week. While the
woman banks the equivalent of a years salary in one hit and never had any
intention of getting on a plane to meet you.
If you insist on meeting a woman outside of Russia and have to
pay her travelling expenses, do so by credit card with a reputable travel
agency. Don't wire money to a recommended travel agency suggested by the woman
you are writing to. It could be her friend who picks up your money and you'll
never hear from them again!
Asking for money to help pay Internet costs to email you. This
is a difficult one. Because Internet charges are very expensive in Russia
and Ukraine for local people anyway, it's really not fair to expect the women
to pay to write to you. So what do you do. Every one is telling you not to
send money. Well you have to go with your gut instincts on this one. By all
means send a small amount and see if correspondence continues. But you have
to realize that the woman you are emailing may have 10 other guys emailing
her. If all of you sent her $50 she is getting rich very quickly! On the other
hand you may send her $50 and she uses the money to buy a nice pair of shoes
and with the left over's she writes to other men!
There are so many scams operating through Russian women dating
sites it's hard to keep track. Many men assume that it's just women running
scams. But these days it's unscrupulous agencies/web sites that are scamming
men on a far wider basis than single Russian women. It's not all doom and
gloom out there! For every scam web site there are dozens that run an honest,
reliable service.
A number of well known web sites are offering men the ability
to exchange emails through their web site with their ladies. Unfortunately
these sites are actually manufacturing the ladies letters. One of the largest
American web sites is openly running one of the biggest email forwarding scams
on the Internet today. You can read about this scam on the following neutral

10 red flags
to look out for
After reading the pages above it is clear this site is allowing
it's agent to write letters on women's behalf without the knowledge of the
women. They are ignoring this blatant scam and continue to work with agents
who operate these practices. Our advice is to keep well away from this site
and it's affiliates.
Be wary of free dating sites that allow anyone to post an advert.
They don't check who is joining, they have no way of doing so. Russian scammers
proliferate on these sites. Many photo's get copied from genuine sites of
real women but are used on these sites to scam men.
When visiting a site, see if they have a page for Russian women
to join. If they do and they allow the women to complete an online form or
join by email avoid using such a site. They obviously do not have any policy
for checking their ladies. Anyone could be joining.
Another problem is the so called 'anti scam' websites out there.
Many antiscam sites are popping up listing agencies that are considered to
be honest. Yet they do very little into checking the sites sites that they
list. So how does a web site get recommended on an anti scam web site? Usually
it's just a simple case of the Russian dating site putting a banner from the
anti scam site on it's front page. You will come across many, many web sites
with these anti scam banners that say something like... 'we support anti scam
program' or 'recommended on 'antiscam . com' or whatever. Don't take any notice
of this. It's not worth a dime.
However we do recommend Jim's 2 anti scam sites below. Unbiased,
